Began as a five member session band in August 2019, first show 22 August 2019 at Wild Side Tokyo: Mayu (vocals, ex Lipstick), Saki (guitar, Mary's Blood), Hazuki (guitar, Disqualia), Haraguchi-san (bass and backing vocals, ex Hölderlins) and Tamu Murata (drums, ex Soramimi). First US show at the Whisky a Go Go, July 2022; Budokan for the fifth anniversary, 17 February 2024. Saki left in March 2024. Tamu Murata formally left at the end of July 2026 and is scheduled to continue as support drummer through the 12 October 2026 EX Theater Roppongi show; Hazuki is scheduled to leave after that show. Mayu and Haraguchi-san remain the continuing core, and the band has announced a stronger focus on international activity. Gozo (January 2026); NAON no BUNTAI, April 2026. iKA joined as support guitarist for the June 2026 shows. Transition hub: the 2019 session lineup joined five prior personnel lines, then became a bridge between the Destrose derived girls metal network and an internationally oriented heavy rock audience, so the 2026 transition is a test of whether a band built through overlapping scene networks can keep continuity while rebuilding its working core. In an artist authorized message shared with The Music Cities, Mayu said the band needs time but intends to return as an even cooler, best version of Nemophila, and asked audiences to enjoy the current lineup during 2026.
